Our client is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of agricultural vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and maintain tractors, trucks, vehicles, spray pumps, and other agricultural implements.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Plan and organise maintenance work efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and related administration.
- Ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.
- Work closely with management to prioritise maintenance requirements and repair work.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Post-school qualification as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery.
- Experience with Harvest (Pars) machines will be advantageous.
- Good organisational, administrative, and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid South African driver’s licence.
